Camagüey
Camagüey is the easternmost province of central Cuba, the largest area and the flattest. Before the current political-administrative division included the territories of the provinces of Ciego de Avila, Sancti Spiritus and part of Las Tunas. Also called the city of Camagüey by the proliferation of these huge stoneware, Camagüey (named from 1903) has a unique urban fabric consists of narrow winding streets that invariably end in squares and plazas where buildings still preserved outstanding historical, cultural and architectural values.
